CSIAM Council member Hailiang Li elected 2016 Changjiang Professor
On April 1, 2017, the Ministry of Education announces the awardees of the 2016 Changjiang (Yangtze River) Scholars Program, including 159 distinguished professors, 52 chair professors and 229 young scholars.
CSIAM Council member Hailiang Li is on the list of winners (distinguished professor).
Hailiang Li, born in 1971, obtained his PhD from the Institute of Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is an expert in partial differential equations. Currently Hailiang Li is a vice dean and a professor of School of Mathematical Sciences, Capital Normal University. He is also an editor of Acta Mathematica Scientia.
