The 13th China Networks Science Forum held in Beijing
On April 21-23, the 13th China Networks Science Forum is held in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). The forum is hosted by CSIAM Activity Group on Complex Networks and Complex Systems, and co-organized by BUPT. With a theme of Complexity and Safety Analysis of Networks Science with Big Data, the forum covers 6 topics: 1. Big data and network safety; 2. Internet finance and block chain; 3. Network dynamics; 4. Network model; 5. Network case study; 6. Biology network and crowd computing.
The presidents of the forum are Jianyong Qiao (president of BUPT), Jinhu Lv (executive council member and vice secretary general of CSIAM, researcher in the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Xiaofan Wang (chair of CSIAM Activity Group on Complex Networks and Complex Systems, professor in Shanghai Jiaotong University), Yixian Yang (BUPT), and Xiang Li (Fudan University).
The following scholars give plenary talks: Shigang Chen, Ruqian Lu and Hao Yin (Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences); Youping Li and Deyi Li (Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering). These talks deal with such frontier topics as brain network, network structure, knowledge engineering, cognitive science and internet +. The forum has over 500 participants from nearly 100 universities and research institutes all over China.
