CSIAM Activity Group on Financial Mathematics and Financial Engineering consists of experts and scholars engaged in financial mathematics, financial engineering and actuarial studies as well as financial practitioners. The activity group will focus on the research and practice of financial mathematics, financial engineering and actuarial science. Its goal is to cultivate complex talents in financial mathematics, financial statistics, financial computing, financial engineering and actuarial science, to promote the intersection of mathematics, statistics, computing and finance, insurance and other disciplines, to provide a platform of mathematics and scientific computing to mathematicians and financial and insurance practitioners in areas such as financial insurance and economics, and to promote the development of quantitative finance and actuarial science and technology in our country.

The purpose of the activity group is to unite China's experts and scholars engaged in the study of financial mathematics, financial engineering and actuarial science and financial insurance professionals around the major needs of the development of the national financial market, to promote the professional personnel training, academic exchanges, disciplinary development and social services in the research and practice of finance mathematics, financial computing, financial engineering and actuarial science. We will regularly hold professional meetings, publish professional journals and participate in international corresponding professional activities.
